FOR EVERY NAME ON THE LIST

Certificate maker

Design a certificate once and make it for one person or for everyone on a list, each with their own name, course or grade. It is made in your browser; your list is never uploaded.

Layout
Write {date} or {organisation} to put those in. With a list, a column name in braces, such as {course}, is filled in for each person.

How do I make certificates for a whole list?

  1. Choose a layout and colour, and type the heading and wording.
  2. Choose “A list of people”, then type or paste the names, or choose a CSV or Excel file. Up to 300 at a time.
  3. If your list has other columns, such as Course or Grade, write the column name in braces in the wording, for example “for completing {course} with grade {grade}”.
  4. Step through the preview, then download a ZIP with one PDF for each person, or one PDF to print.

What happens with a very long name?

The name is drawn as large as fits on one line and made smaller for a long one. If it still does not fit at the smallest size, the page tells you which row, so you can shorten it before printing.

Can I use names in Hindi or other scripts?

Not yet. The PDF uses built-in fonts that draw English letters, digits and accented Latin letters only. A row with other letters is left out and listed, rather than printed wrongly.

Are these certificates verifiable?

No. The certificate number is printed as you give it, or counted in order; there is no online record behind it and nothing here proves a certificate is genuine. Keep your own list of what you issued.

Is my list uploaded?

No. The names, the logo and the certificates stay in your browser, nothing is kept after you close the page, and this page loads no ads.
