How do I open the Kernel Extension panel?

Press F12 to open DevTools, then click the "Kernel Extension" tab in the panel bar. Or press Ctrl+Shift+Y to jump directly to the panel. You can also click the K icon in the browser toolbar to open it as a standalone tab.

Does the extension work without internet?

Accepted Answer

Most tools work completely offline — Console, Network, DOM, Storage, Mock API, API Tester, Colors, Fonts, and more. Only Certificate Inspector (crt.sh), DNS Leak Checker (ipify.org) and HSTS check (hstspreload.org) make external network requests, and only when you trigger them.

Where are mock rules and API collections stored?

In chrome.storage.local — on your device only. Nothing is ever sent to a server.

Why does the Console tab show no logs?

Accepted Answer

The content script is injected on page load. If you installed the extension after loading a page, reload that page so the script can attach.

Can I use the extension on chrome://... or edge://... pages?

Accepted Answer

No — browser extensions cannot inject scripts into browser-internal pages. The extension works only on regular http:// and https:// pages.
