What a salary slip should show

The employer’s name and address, and the employee’s name, ID and designation.
The month the pay is for, and the days paid if any were unpaid.
Each part of the pay (basic, HRA, allowances) and each deduction (PF, professional tax, TDS), with the totals.
Net pay in figures and words, and a signature or stamp from the employer.
