What happens to bookmarks, links and forms?
Bookmarks and links targeting included pages are retained; destinations outside each output are removed and reported. Form widgets are limited to retained pages. Supported calculations are kept only when their required fields remain.
Are tagged PDFs and XFA forms supported?
Standard tag trees are filtered to the retained pages. Complex structures that cannot be preserved are rejected with an explanation. This is not PDF/UA certification. XFA forms need the Portfolio option in Merge PDF to preserve the original.
Are signatures and attachments preserved?
Signed inputs require acknowledgement because changing pages invalidates signatures. Document-wide attachments and alternate named resources are omitted. Downloads are unencrypted; review the report before sharing.
Does this reduce image quality?
Pages are copied without rasterizing or deliberately recompressing their images. File size may increase because output PDFs need their own fonts and resources. Generated PDFs are limited to 100 MB in total.
