How to play
Guess the five-letter word. After each guess, letters show whether they are in the right place, in the word elsewhere, or not in it at all. There is a daily word, plus unlimited practice.
Reading tilesGreen with a solid border: right letter, right place. Gold with a dashed border: in the word but elsewhere. Grey: not in the word. A repeated letter is only marked as many times as it appears in the answer.
Daily and practiceThe daily word is the same for everyone on the same date and only counts once per day toward your stats and streak, kept on this device. Practice words are unlimited and don't affect stats.
Honest limitsAnswers come from a list of 586 common words. Guesses aren't checked against a dictionary, so any five letters are accepted.
