How to play
Slide every tile at once; two equal tiles that meet merge into one. A new tile appears after each move. Reach 2048, then keep going.
MergingEqual tiles that slide into each other merge into their sum, and that sum is added to your score. A tile merges at most once per move. After every move a 2 (or, one time in ten, a 4) appears in an empty cell.
A strategyKeep your biggest tile in a corner and build a descending chain along one edge, so merges cascade toward it. Avoid the one direction that would pull it out.
ControlsArrow keys or WASD, a swipe on the board, or the arrow buttons below it: all do the same thing.
